2002:
– Acquisition of Adwest Engineering Ltd.

2003:
– Acquisition of Metallifacture Ltd; Adwest Cables Ltd; Western Thomson Controls Ltd, Dauphinoise Thomson SAS (France); Bowden SAS (France); Western Thomson India. Formation of the Magal Engineering Group.

2015:
– Magal Tongrun in India is formed.
– Production begins at Nantong Tongrun Magal Auto Accessory Co. in China

In May 2017 the Automotive division of Arlington Industries Group acquired Magal Engineering Limited.

The acquisition complements and further strengthens Arlington’s global infrastructure across the automotive and aerospace sectors to provide genuine supply chain consolidation to all its customers.

Crucially, the acquisition also sees Arlington expand its range of capabilities to now include design, engineering, component manufacture (pressing, coatings, plastic mould injection, piping etc.), assembly and complete aftermarket support.

– Magal Tech in India receive Aerospace Certification, TUV SUD AS9100C and ISO 9001:2008.
– Magal Cables receives Silver award at Ford’s Annual World Excellence Awards in Michigan.
– Mahhindra & Mahindra award Magal Tech India for ‘Outstanding Support’.
– Magal AWT awarded ‘Nissan Quality Certificate’ for financial year 2016 for their excellent quality performance.
– A fully automated injection moulding machine is installed at Magal AWT.
– Construction starts at Magal Dauphinoise Thomson in France to increase the current production area by more than 50%.
