Magal AWT’s HR Manager, Colette Tombs took to the skies recently in a bid to support the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre, a charity close to her heart.
With the help of The Army Parachute Association in Netheravon in Wiltshire, Colette jumped out of a plane and successfully completed her parachute jump, raising £800 in the process.
Originally she was only going to sponsor a friend who was jumping, but wanting to help raise as much as possible, she bravely decided to jump as well.
Colette said: “MS is an illness that has affected several close friends of mine, and I really wanted to help this charity. The centre is totally self-funded and needs to raise around £400,000 each year to be able to offer services to all the MS sufferers in Berkshire.
“Being taken to a height of 13000ft and ‘pushed’ out of a plane by my instructor Tony was a truly amazing experience and one I will never forget!”
