Magal AWT in Reading have started a deep clean in preparation for the new Renault, Nissan and Daimler project starting in March 2019. Magal Cables in Stourport has taken delivery of 2 new machines to support the growing business. An investment of nearly £200k has provided them a new Mould Machine and a new Robot Weld Cell which will be used for the production of various mechanical brackets. Magal were invited by Jaguar Land Rover to celebrate the ‘Best of British Engineering’ event, in the year of Engineering. The evening was hosted by BBC’s Steph McGovern.
Staff at Magal AWT held a non-uniform day to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Staff paid to wear their own clothes for the day on February the 2nd. HR Manager Colette Tombs who organised the event said ” I am delighted that so many staff took part and supported World Cancer Day”
